Resources

By no means am I a professional in this realm of Apraxia and Childhood Development. I'm not a professional researcher or a speech therapist. I am just an individual who overcame Apraxia in a time where there was very little information about it!

Below are a couple resources for you to look into and consider in your own Apraxia Adventures:

1. Apraxia KidsThis is a fantastic 501 (c)3 non-profit organization exclusively dedicated to children and families combating Apraxia. They help through funding research, speech therapies, and providing families with the tools to successfully overcome the disorder- Ipads to help children communicate, a nation-wide support system, and information for you to read and share with others.

2. American Speech-Language-Hearing AssociationThis is a national association with speech pathologists, scientists, audiologists, etc. Their goal is to empower these professionals through knowledge and research, as well as providing the means to help all individuals effectively, verbally communicate.
